• Have lived in Canada, 15 or older, and stopped working or lost his income because of COVID-19.

• You have been quarantined or fell sick because of COVID-19.
• You cannot work to provide care for others because they were quarantined due to COVID-19.
• You cannot work to provide care for children or other dependants because their care facilities are
closed because of COVID-19.
• Your income was at least $5,000 in 2019 or the past 12 months from the date you applied for CERB, EI
and/or Self Employment Income, Provincial or Federal Maternity, or Paternity Leave benefits.
• Stopped working because of COVID-19 and have no income for at least 14 consecutive days over a 4
week period.
• Continued employment but do not receive any income due to disruption of their employment status due
to COVID-19
• You have not applied for or received a CERB or EI from Service Canada within the time frame that you
are eligible to receive.
• Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) or international student who has passed the eligibility requirement
stated above.
• You have been paid regular EI benefits for at least 1 week beginning December 29,2019 and you have
exhausted the amount you are entitled to.
• You are a “seasonal or part time worker” who stops or stopped working for at at least 14 continuous
days in
a 4-week period and will receive or expect to receive no more than $1,000 combined income from employment or
self-employment over a period of time.
